To finish this week’s challenge i chose this shot from Mexico city. Those are bikes for rent and you can find them in many places like in Europe. The cool thing about it is that they look really old. I guess in Europe they had these three decades ago.
LOL, love this. Our neighbour has a similar one – still rides it to work. Wouldn’t dream of replacing it – and why should he?
Me too!! The new bikes are so “not interesting”…
Wonderful rhythm/repetition, sir!
Another awesome photo!
🙂
Thank you Sir!!
Looks some what like my bike that I have locked up downstairs in the parking garage. Only Tyler and I have the combo to it. It was meant to be my main form of excersize for the summer. I was going to ride it when Ezra was out to lose weight, but Denise went in to her coma. I was planning on riding it to the public pool with Denise. Argh.
But Ezra looks great. Does he need to lose weight???
Yeah we have that cycle scheme here in Ireland, but the bikes sure aren’t as pleasantly antiquated as these ones. I like how the sunlight gleams on the seats and handlebars.
Thank you Ailís… i miss your comments around here 🙂
No. He just went to the doctor for a rash. (He has poisen ivy). He wieghs 47 lbs. He is a growing boy. His grandfather in Texas is a construction contractor and he works and lives on a pecan ranch and he is 7′ tall. I think maybe even 7′ 2”. Ezra looks like a pip squeak right now, but he could grow up to be a very tall man. I was talking about that when Ezra was away from the apartment I would ride the bicycle outside alone to lose weight. Ezra can ride with out training wheels, but I think that I can still ride a little bit further and faster with out him. Thank you for thinking of us and taking time on us. I feel better already due to your friendship.
Thank you!!! I’m really glad that you feel good and i can say the same here. 🙂
Yesterday at summer camp Ezra told the counselors that he could swim so that he could be in the group that was jumping off of rafts in to the water. He never jumped in. I am hoping that they figured out the truth and put him in the beginner group today. His “Tadpole” swim lessons are not until the end of August here in town. His cousin Emily came home and told her mother about him doing that out at summer camp.
Wow…Call the camp. If he doesn’t know it well it’s better not to take risks…
Last night Ezra told me that Autumn Joyner’s mother from his 1st grade class is taller than me, thinner than me and has prettier hair than me. That makes me sad, but it is true. Last year when Ezra was in kindergarten he used to say that he was worried that the other children would think that I was ugly or something like that. I really need to lose 100lbs. I am not going to use the lap band. It is not good health wise. Things like that can go wrong. Every morning I get on the scale and I am either 210 0r 205 lbs. It just does not go down at all.
Well… i don’t believe in lap bands and things like that. I know people who got problems with it. I’m doing what i can and it’s working. You could do it too. It’s takes effort because in the beginning you feel really hungry… but it gets better… salads are the best options…no nacho with cheese and bacon salads…lol…the green ones… if you cut sugar and bread. cut fat and try only to eat less fat meats with your salads it will be fine… alos of fruits and no fast food…you can do it!
I did call the camp this morning thanks to your urging. Thank you.
Great!!!
Ezra’s dad loves McDonald’s. He used to work there, before I knew him. He is so serious about it that he makes them make a fresh batch of fries most of the time for him with no salt on it or something like that and he usually has to have his onions “slivered” not chopped. Ezra’s beloved aunt Hadley has worked there too around 2005 or 2006. That is how much of a go getter she is. Her sister was killed during that Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist incident in the US. She was flying her own plane and they intentionally crashed in to her. I think that she was flying by the twin towers, but I am not sure. I think that they kept on showing it over and over again on the news and then Hadley she was raised in Maine, which is in New England was given $10,000.00 by our government she told me for her sister’s death. Which I suspect by how she has acted that in some ways that actually bothered her. Maybe she thought my sister is worth $10,000. ? How do they calculate that?
Hadley did not have to work at McDonald’s either. She is a journalist with a degree from The Univeristy of Maine and she writes for magazines. She is married with 2 little boys and they own a house in Clinton, MA. Her husband is a computer engineer and he works for hi parents computer company doing amazing things it sounds like and he travels for his work.
Lol. Anyway yes, thanks for the stay away from fast food gesture and I think that I may have been writing about the wrong topic on your thread here. Today I went for a good long bike ride on my out door bike.
That’s great… i’m doing half hour of stationary bike everyday…
Yes, I was thinking about that when I was riding outside today. Very nice.
