Weekly Photo Challenge: Street Life

What a great challenge…Life is happening in the Streets. That’s the subject i prefer to capture. The true moments are all there… I’ll post some stuff and explain a bit:

 

This first shot was in a protest here in São Paulo, Brasil. A Very patriotic time to be in the streets of the big city…

 

 

Now another aspect of it. A day of heavy rain mixed with poor street planning. Water all over and people risking by walking in the middle of the street…

 

An everyday life beauty. Mother and daughter buying fruit….

 

 

And to finish this one, a rebel with his skate, defying the streets…

 

 

 

That’s it for today… I could bore you with much more because i really love street photography but i feel that’s enough…a great wee to you all!!!

 

WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE: COMMUNITY

Great challenge!! Not an easy one. Representing community is not a casual task. I’ll try with two shots.

The first one is from “the miracle cave”. A Small cave in the country side of a less developed state from Brasil. People believe miracles happen inside it so there are thousands of believers that travels many days to get there. They hang pictures and objects on it’s walls from relatives or friends with some kind of sickness or trouble.It’s an amazing and disturbing view. It has to do with a community faith and way of live.

 

The second is an area in Berlin on the canals where people go to drink and meet. It’s an amazing and unusual place for the summer with many bars by the water one next to the other. People gather and have fun in a very cool way.

WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE: LET THERE BE LIGHT!

Well… As i work with film and photography i must say that light is always more than welcome…Usually hidden but not always. not in this case. I just love the effects you can get out of artificial lights and it’s amazing how we are always trying to emulate natural light with it. So i selected some shots from the sets. I also selected a shot from the good of all lights…so we can see the resemblance…and a shot of the “subject” being carried…as we can carry the sun…lol…great week to you all!!!
