I have a friend that used to say she would never have a kid. “Nothing as irritating as a kid screaming by your side on the airplane” she used to say. I tried to understand how someone choose to not have a kid. I really think it’s natural to want to have children. The spark in the eyes of a new father is undescrideable. After having babies new parents can stay months with no sleep and still be happy about it. They always say: “You will only understand when you have one”. Well… i’m planning on having one next year so i’m paying more attention than ever on parents of babies. I’m starting to learn that i hate mothers that go out to run with their babies on carriers. I’m learning that i hate mothers that go dining after eleven at night bringing babies with them. I’m learning that it’s not the babies falt that the scream. Well that i already knew. It’s the parents falt. Why bring a baby with six months to an international flight? Why bringing a baby to Disneyland? It’s too early for the baby to enjoy. The parents are just using the babies as excuse. So if i’m having a baby i gotta understand something my parents and most parents from the seventies never understood. You have to give up a lot. You can’t just have a baby and continue travelling and going out and working and being away all the time. Leaving the kids with the nanny is not an everyday thing. You gotta have time for your kids. But then i really get scared because i don’t have a clue if i’m good as a parent. I don’t know even if i can hold a baby. Anyway i’ll do it and i’m only sure of one thing: I’ll love him and i’ll rase him and i’ll prepare him to the world and eventually he will leave me. But that’s life!

I dont wanna be a party pooper but i really want to learn other folk’s opinions over the topics that are presented to us on daily basis by the fellows at daily post. It’s not that all ideas are bad or anything. Maybe just having the same ideas for everybody is not what writing is supposed to be. As i understand we are here to tell and read tales from our own experience and our visions of the world. Choosing themes is like turning writing into a task. I know for some maybe it’s an incentive to keep writing everyday but writing everyday is only good if your have stuff to write everyday. I signed up for this which is already a task. The “postaday2011” for me is good for discipline but already sometimes makes me feel like i’m only doing it for the task. It’s clear to me and to the readers. In these days i also gave my best but the need to write and the spark to do so was not there. I can see that in my statistics. Viewers drop to half at least. It means maybe the message i’m delivering is not that important anymore. I’ll keep doing the postaday thing but i’ll never be able to work with the topics. I tried but those were not very good posts. For those who likes the ideas posted on the daily post i can only say that i admire and respect you guys. I’m just not able to create that well on those handed subjects. Some of them are great and i can work with the photos ideas but themes like today’s “chocolate or vanilla” don’t help me much. I could write about it but instead i prefer to ask your opinions on this whole topic thing.

The act of creating from nothing is known to be exclusive to God. He created the universe and everything in it including us from nothing “creatio ex nihilo“. So if creation is divine why do we call our creations that way. When man created the chair he didn’t worked from nothing. He worked from wood and the need to seat a person. When LSD was created it was the mix of chemicals with the desire to trip without the need to leave the couch. But i believe there’s always something divine about creation and you can hit a certain level of it. That’s why some creations that lack this quality are obvious. Some are better. They are inventive. Some are amazing, almost magical. You really can’t tell where did the creator got the idea from. Even so it does come from things. A painter needs paints, a poet needs pen, a musician needs the instrument. They do it for many needs and reasons. But there are some that are so intense you can feel there’s something else going on in there. When you see a Van Gogh or a Beethoven symphony and you connect with that kind of art if you really follow the creation to it’s full intensity you can forget those are instruments and people singing. You can forget you are looking at paint in a canvas. Those can make you travel closer to the moment of their creation and that’s a whisper from the divine. It doesn’t matter the creed or the god. That’s the beauty of it. You can sense the divine in it. It’s like a little window that was opened briefly. You noticed for sure but you can’t point to it. There’s a bit of devine in all of us because we are part of creation. We are sons of creation. The deep wonderful mystery is how does that happen. What happened in the head and hands of the composer in that moment. Maybe even he doesn’t know. Maybe he thinks it was him self and it was! But that’s the ego’s perspective. Maybe he doesn’t think at all. Some creators were drunk or high or sick when they created many of these masterpieces. Beethoven coudn’t  even hear when he composed the ninth symphony and that’s one of the pieces of art that makes me travel closer to the creation of it. At least that’s my perception. Not that i got close to the deaf and drunk Beethoven at a particular night looking to the streets being himself but i feel like i got closer to the moment. To the spark that collided at a specific moment where the process of this creation took form from nothing and then into a medium which is music. That’s the closer i can get to God.
