I just love my Neighborhood… I chose it. It was the first i had the chance to buy and choose. Ok…It’s a noisy place in the center of the city. But i grew up in the city and i’m really used to it. I guess maybe i even like the noise deeply inside. But about what i love…i love to go dinning out in a nice restaurant a few blocks from home. On foot!! I love the fact that the museums are in a 15 mins walk range. I love the fact that it attracts all kind of people from the modern sophisticated people going shopping to people like this folk that seams from a tale two centuries old. Yep…the guy with the parrot that tells your fortune…
You are a real urban sophisticate!
From his smile, he looks like he only tells good fortunes.
I’m really urban…not sophisticated…i just hate to use a car i guess…
and about him…i guess it depends on the tip…lol
Well done! 🙂
A sweet photograph.
Thank you so much!!!
Winner shot. That’s a genuine smile.
Thank you mr friend!!
Great shot.
Thank u!!!
Wait. Is this actually a phoneography challenge or a photography challenge? I am just wondering, because I always copy you. I do not know where to find them listed. I like that it is “neighborhood”.
Yep!!! Photos taken with your phone!! 🙂 about your neighborhood…
Another beautiful portrait!
Giulas, I agree – an active neighborhood is the best.
I know a lot of people want space and quiet but I thrive and feel invigorated when there’s a bustle around and the space is pedestrian friendly.
Nothing like a post-dinner stroll down a street with definite signs of life. 🙂
So cool you enjoy it!!! Not everybody does… I can tell you that i love the beach and the country…but i have a duration of 3 to 4 days in a quiet place…after that i become really unstable!!! lol
This is great – a real neighborhood, a great photo. And p.s., I love your header photo up there, too.
Thank you so much!!! That’s not my neighborhood!!! lol
Very nice shot! Love it!
Take care,
Patty
Thank you!!! 🙂 u 2!!
Good stuff. You have an excellent eye, and honest words. Really good fun going through your blog.
Fantastic.

enjoyed the story behind the image, too. thanks for sharing!
Thank you!! 🙂
I have nominated you for,” Very Inspiring Blogger award -5″, http://kalabalu.wordpress.com/2013/03/27/very-inspiring-blogger-award-5/
Thank you!!!
you are welcome 🙂
I love your Good Reads widget. Very cool. I am going to try to pit one on my site.
Do that!!! It’s nice to know what our friends are reading…
That bird is really cute. Also… what happened to your cooking with friends idea? I made homemade meatballs today and I felt like part of my confidence in cooking with meat and sauce came from watching your Ragu recipe.
Don’t tell me… 😦 …There was a friend of mine who was going to take care of the blog…he never did it…And i have not enough time to do these things i love…but i hope someday i can get to it again… One thing i learned is that what you did is very unusual…people seams to think recording a video with a recipe is too much commitment… So there was just our videos…
Well I love your Ragu recipe and I am convinced that I am going to burn it on to a Dvd and always have it with my cookbook collection.
Wait… now I am confused, so Jacques Pepin & Julia, Barefoot Contessa and all of those people cooking on t.v. all of the time that is unusual?
My aunt and uncle were very wealthy. They created Cape Cod Chips and Chatham Village Croutons. My father always used to say that they sold Cape Cod Chips for millions to Bush Gardens. I have no idea what that means. Is Bush Gardens an amusement park or a beer company? Anyway they had a big house… view of the water in Cape Cod and a nice big kitchen with an island you know (in the kitchen) when it was rare for kitchens to be that large and they I am just going to say always had a flat screen t.v. hanging down in the kitchen…
No dear!!! lol… What is unusual is (unfortunately) people engaging in other people’s efforts when there is no financial return involved…The most people commit for free usually is a like in facebook…lol
Thank you so much!! You are really nice!!!
Giulas, Congratulations!!!
You have been nominated for the Super Sweet Blogging award
http://acceleratedstall.com/2013/04/01/super-sweet-blogging-award/
Just a sweet little somethin’ I thought you might have fun with… a different sort of challenge, if you will. 🙂
Thank you so much dear!!!
You know I thought that you had another picture up here. I must be losing it.
Oh. Okay. Now I get it. I do not know all of the ettiquette behind social media… as you probably can tell.
@ freshnewblog:
Busch Gardens is a sort of museum with a beautiful garden all around it. It honors the Busch beer company and shows the history of beer making in America. It is located in St. Louis, Missouri. When I was a child, our class took a field trip there and to other interesting and educational places in St. Louis. At that time, they had a talking parrot that would say, “How about a Hamms!” We thought that quite funny.
Wow!!! I just knew that roller coaster place on Tampa, Florida… It’s also called Busch…ops…there is the catch…Bush Garden…lol
I really don’t know where the chips and croutons went, though! Could be either place. 🙂
Lol.
Giuls, I love this photo.
Missing you, though. Is all okay where you are? 🙂
Hi Dear!!! All is great…time seams to be shortening as we chat…lol…that’s the only problem…a lot of things to do and never time enough…i need to photograph more for an example…and i need to participate more in the blog…Miss you too…i’ll find a way not to be absent…are you ok??? is everything good ???
Busy is good, Friend! Stay busy and stay employed, right? 😉
All is going well, here, too. And busy! 🙂
Spring has arrived with the trees a vibrant new green, and with this morning’s dark gray background, it all looks quite classy. Also it means stormy weather is visiting us today. My husband says I am morbid because I love stormy weather! Ha! I just think immovable bright blue becomes old as a constant, and the turbulant gray is a nice change. 😉
Anyway, I’ve begun mowing the lawn again, which is good exercise, and planting new flowers, which is my play-time.
Busy. Have to stay busy. Right?
Thanks so very much for your quick reply. It is wonderful to know all is well with you. Greetings to the ever-beautiful one by your side. 🙂
I love the stormy weather too!! But to stay inside of course…lol… i’m beyond the age of going out in the rain and playing
barefoot…:)…You are always really dear and sweet!!! You can count on my friendship always!!! I’ll tell miss ever beautiful you say hi… 🙂 I wish to see a pict of your garden after you’re done…It must be as joyful are you are!!!
❤
I need a new digital camera. I want to get a WordPress Video Upgrade and Ezra is now thinking about quoting gymnastics which was going to be the theme of my bloc. I know how you feel.
Quitting and blog… you probably speak Spanish and have to translate… so spelling is important… right?
No!!! I speak portuguese (all Brasilians do)… usually i right directly in english…and as my english is kinda rusty you probably notice some bumps on the narrative here and there…My spanish sucks….lol
I need to bone up on my geography.
You’ve been nominated 🙂

Ezra has a new toy. It cost around $400.00. It is called a WiiU. You could look it up, but I just watched you Ragu recipe on it. It also works as a t.v. remote. You can play games on it and on the television. There is a lot that you can do with it. There is a camera on it. I like that your Grandmother’s name was C o r l I s a. I think that if I have a girl I might name her C o r l i s a Belle Rosa.
what a wonderful name ideia…very original…actually my granny’s name is CORICIA … i’m not sure it sound nice in english…it’s austrian….it’s the name of a region 🙂 i heard about the wiiu…very fancy these kid’s toys from today right???? They are probably preparing kids to a life with lots of computer on it!!! What can we do?? I guess we are getting old…lol…
WordPress just notified me that today is my anniversary with them.
