I hope you all had a great new year’s eve. probably everyone is planning what will happen in this year of 2013. The first year after the end of the world…lol…So let’s start this year with lots of hope and joy!!! So let’s got to the theme: Illumination…I chose the city’s skyline. Not exactly fireworks and light effects but sometimes as glorious and amazing. I took this shot last week in Miami Beach and you can see the port and Miami downtown. Cheers and a happy 2013 to all…
The lights are great but the clouds… now there’s personality in that photo. 🙂
I’m glad you noticed!!! Tks Maria!!! Great 2013 to you!!!
Happy New Year to you. For some reason I got a blue square and a white question mark and no image;-(
Wow!!! Why is that??? Other people were able to see the photo…I hope you can see it!!!
And as soon as I wrote that comment, your night image of illumination appeared. Forgive me. Don’t know what happened. Love the night lights.
I’m glad you did it!!! Thank you so much!!!
I really want to avoid offending anyone… but I did the math. I had been axing a college calculus class … this was back in 1999 and by my calculations by the Mayan calendar (which is really very lovely and all about peace and love) “the end of the world” could come around I think 2016 or 2014. I forget which. Anyway it is a good thing. The end of the world… what the Mayans meant by that was the end of the world as we know it. When it is redefined by Christ’s return and his atonement.
I really don’t want to offend…
I was getting an A
Typos…
We’ve nominated your blog for an award (or two, or three…), if you accept them. If not, just consider it a token of our esteem! 🙂 See our post at http://windagainstcurrent.com/2013/01/13/award-appreciation-we-thank-our-readers-for/
Really great shot, Giuls! I love really dark, stormy skies the most. Love clouds, too. I was in a tornado once — I guess that’s why. 🙂
Can’t believe you were in the US just a bit ago. Hmm.
Thanks for sharing this!
P.S. You should see what my painter friend did with this topic:

Wow…amazing painter!!! I love this gift some people have… 🙂
Yes, a real tornado with many dead and whole acres of housing flattened or blown away. I’ve returned to the site, recently, and there is a lovely memorial to the victims, a long row of flowering trees planted, one for each person.
I write about it from a child’s perspective here:

Enjoy! And thanks for looking at Ruth’s art. 🙂
