Very clever idea and nice photo.
Wow… Thank you so much!!
Man, you DO get around! Great job. Can you imagine the work represented, here, for people to move all that rock
Don’t even tell me!!! It’s so powerful and amazing… The only thing i wonder is how were these people treated… because like today these guys built these places for other people…rich people to live in and rule in and preach…and at those times these guys were slaves…but after all i guess they’ll say the same about our giant towers and big cities… 🙂
I’m sure they were slaves, killed if they did not work.
The priests went far beyond preaching, to human sacrifice, too, I believe I remember from studying the history when I was about 11 years old. I think maybe some cultures did a bit better than that, but not much. The world can be pretty brutal when morality falls away. Most people hate to work yet want to have all the great things that come from work. So they use all their energy they COULD put to work, rather brandishing a whip. They miss the fact: That is work, too. Hmm.
Great thinking!! That’s work too and also is finding things to kill the boredom when you are too rich to need to word at all…It would be awesome if we all were like the swedish… The really rich makes only 6 times more money than the really poor…
Hey, Giulas,
Whipping slaves as a form of entertainment for the rich — I’m so glad you did not add a smiley to that.
Listen, I had to come here and see if you replied, since the reply did not come to my inbox. If you don’t see me for DAYS, you’ll know there is a wp mess up, okay? I’ll check from time to time and see if you’ve posted anything, and catch up if needed. Sorry it seems everyone has glitches right now. Too bad. K.
No problems my friend!!! 🙂 …As i love to hear from you i also hate to pressure… I’ll be here and so my posts…you can come when you can and that’ll make my glad…
Fabulous, brilliant shot, it looks a wonderful place to visit, You’ve composed this wonderfully, excellent job. I love it.
Thank you so much Val!!! You should really visit…and you will learn that no photo can make justice to this place…
This is on my bucket list! I so want to visit this place!
Please do!! It’s amazing!!
Amazing. I think that is a great name for it.
True!!! I believe they worshiped this places…
Enjoyed the shot. I didn’t realize what great shape it was in. Would love to have read a little about it. Here’s my take from the Serengeti: http://wp.me/p1TywS-ps

I saw it and liked it a few days ago!! I so need to go there!!!
Unusual take on the challenge, and quite a panorama —
It’s an awesome place!!!
I’ve wanted to go there ever since reading about Teotihuacan in an issue of NG years ago.
Do that!!! it’s amazing!!
Love it!! This is a magical site, that’s for sure, and deserves a place in the “Sun” shots. It’s hard to get a full view of the place, so this is wonderful. Mira pues!
Thank you so much my friend!!! You have been there and you know photos make no justice to the place…Did the best i could but this one is worth seeing with our own eyes… 🙂
The pyramids a favorite place for me to travel to. You captured these magnificently.
Well done …
Thank you so much!!!! 🙂 Amazing place really!
I love that you took it to a different place. Great play!
Thank you!!! 🙂
Your photography always shines, sir!
🙂
You are very kind my friend!! If someday you wanna do something together just tell me…maybe i can photograph something in Brasil that you can manipulate afterwords in the US…
What a kind offer!
I might just have to take you up on that at some point!
It would be an honor… and a lot of fun, too!
🙂
Well!!! The honor is mine!!! Should we choose a subject????
I’m a bit nervous as your processing is so nice to begin with!
I often try to model photos after old processes (cyanotype, wet plate, etc.)… maybe a photo you think would fit with one of those (either old/timeless looking or the opposite/very modern)?
I enjoy all your work very much, but an image that somehow represents you and/or where you live would be best, I think!
Come on…Nervous?? You are kidding, right??? We are going to have fun!!
I have some stuff i just did in Buenos Aires… I’ve been there this weekend…
it was an extended weekend…There are some shots i’ll send you and you tell me if you enjoy it…
The main this is this…If you don’t enjoy it you are obligated to not accept it!!! lol….
I’ll send them to you email i low…if you like one, tell me and i send you the full size…
I’ll also check places that have something to do with me as you said…i guess the idea is to
give you many choices…so you can find something you can relate to in your work… 🙂 …tonight i’ll do this…
Oh! You two HAVE to do this! We are WAITING! 😀
I’ll be really glad to do this!!!Thank you for the cheer!!!! 🙂
they’ve seen the sun long before us …
Very true frizz!!!
It’s a great shot… 🙂

Thank you for your comments!!! Really appreciated! 🙂
Terrific vision considering the means they had at that time. An interiorized way of feeling part of the whole ……..Good job Giulas . Nice one, as usual……..
Thank you so much!!! I suggest to know it in person…if you can…it’s amazing…
Hi Giulas , I ‘ve been there in ’92 and I appreciated a lot the perspectives . I think it is even more flabbergasting to have an eye bird view of the location. See you soon.
