For the second part of this week’s trilogy i’ll post this shot from my window at the mountains. In a very cold winter the air is really humid and you can smell everything that happened during the night . I love this feeling of morning in the air.

I sure wish it was a little colder here. beautiful shot.
Thank you my friend!!!
The soft focus here is mysterious, like most mornings when you catch the sun rising in a strange place.
And on another note about morning, here is one of my favorite quotes: “I love the smell of napalm in the morning” from the film Apocalypse Now. A stunning scene in the film indeed.
Have a great weekend G!
Thank you Walter!!! This Morning was the opposite of the one you mention. A really awesome quote from one of the best movies i know!!
What is the climate like outside of that window?
High 30’s 🙂
National Geographic magazine online has some photo contests that you could definately enter these pictures in.
Wow!!!Thanks Jessica!!! Do you really think so?? By the way do you have another way of sending me that video?? I can’t download it to put it on the blog. It’s protected by that smile box…
I just entered Ezra’s kindergarten class picture for free in one of their contests the other day, because it was the only picture that I could enter that was the right file type.
WONDERFUL!
These are just too nice… love the bokeh you’ve created here… awesome shot!
Thank Sir!!! I have this lens that my father gave me. It’s a 55mm 1:1.2 . It’s a really fast lens that can have a really narrow depth of field.
The reason that I used Smilebox is because I needed a way to put the corn going in the oven video with the corn coming out of the oven video. I could perhaps send them to you as two separate videos with out Smilebox. Would that work for you? I would have to look and see if I saved it outside of Smilebox. Thank you for taking so much time on me.
It’s my pleasure!!! I loved the fact that you took some time to do that. Surely it would work!
Okay, I do have the two clips saved separately. I am going to email them to you. I just encountered a “technical problem” doing that my computer said so I will try again later. I might have to send them to you separately, because some times with my AOL email I can not send documents that take up a lot of space. Thanks again.
Hi Jessica… I think the problem here is the size… I usually do this:
I put both files in a folder and i compress it so it becomes only one file.
I use http://www.yousendit.com to upload the file. You can use http://www.megaupload.com too. What these site do it that they keed big files there and they give you a link. You just have to send me that link for me to download it. Thank you!!!!
Okay, you are on to my dillema. I am still working on it.
I emailed you the megaupload links. Let me know if that works. Thank you.
I don’t just like this image, I love it G.
Thanks!!!!
Did you get the links that I emailed to you and were you able to view the two separate video clips there? Or does that not work, because they are separate? I just assumed that with your knowledge of technology you might be able to put them together some how. Thinking quickly the only way that I could think of to do that was by using that Smilebox. I got Smilebox from my son’s kindergarten teacher in Montpelier, Vermont. She uses it a lot for her kindergarten blog for his class which is really fun to look at.
Hi Jessica… I just have the second file… The link for the first file was broken…
Oh, really. I thought that that might be the case. I will try it again. I think that I might have gotten a o confused with a 0.
I emailed you a new link. Will you let me know if you have everything?
